Morton & Ott Salvage 5th at the 6 Hours of Nurburgring

Rev It Up Racing eSports Team drivers Jeremiah Morton & Corey Ott salvaged a 5th position in the iELMS 6 Hours of Nurburgring, after a tough and hard fought race.

Following a dramatic stint by Corey Ott, that saw 58 incident points racked up (out of a maximum of 60), Morton was charged with the near-impossible task of driving for 3 hours, with only 1 incident point in the bank before disqualification.

And he did it!

Driving on his tip toes for 3 hours, Morton managed to only pick up the single incident point, to bring the car home in 5th, with 59/60 incident points recorded. Team-mate, Clint Smith, hailed it as Morton’s “best drive of the year” – which says a lot.

Meanwhile, in the #002 B Car, Cedric Finsac & Nicholas Crofton started their first endurance race for the season. Unfortunately the pair had to retire the car about 1 hour into the race.

The team moves onto Daytona this week for solo racing, before heading to Spa-Francorchamps next weekend for the last 24 Hour race of the year!
