At the age of 3, our son Jackson became obsessed with car racing. He would spend hours racing his matchbox cars around his race track carpet mat in his room. Every year for his birthday we would look for party ideas that would take in his love for car racing but there was nothing. The only party ideas for boys were bouncy castles, laser skirmish and indoor sports. So, we made our own racing party, with cardboard cut-out cars and homemade flags.

When he was 9, he started racing go karts and the racing bug really bit him. At age 14 he moved to racing cars in the Formula Vee category.

We got to experience car racing first hand, and saw the mystique it holds for kids. Seeing the smiles on their faces when we would let them see our race car up close got us to realise that a lot of kids – both boys and girls – like car racing!

We noticed that all racing entertainment is aimed at adults, and even though they say they can do kids parties, the fact is their equipment is made for adults and does not suit kids.

So, we started Rev It Up Racing to cater specifically to kids! Our equipment is all made “kid size” – from our racing simulators to our pit stop challenge.
As time has gone on we’ve noticed the adults wanted to join in, so we have made some equipment that they can use too! However, we have not lost the fact that we are about getting kids to experience the excitement and adrenaline rush of car racing, with activities all scaled to their level.
